Introduction

Thank you for using Assisty and supporting its development. Assisty is a multipurpose Discord bot built using the discord.js NPM package (Discord's official API).

Information We Collect

Assisty does not collect any private information, e.g. emails, IP addresses from connecting to this site or other personal information. The only stored data is the birthday system, which stores UserID = birthday. This can be changed at any time and is not enforced by default.

Assisty does not use its permissions to log sensitive data, e.g. messages or user activity. The Message Content Intent is only used to operate prefix commands, counting, word chains, some security features, levels, and others. However, message content is not stored. Assisty cannot view activity due to not using the intent.

Every feature Assisty provides only stores the required information, such as Guild IDs, Channel IDs, set messages (e.g. welcome messages), counts, role IDs, user IDs, and other data provided by Discord's API.

Data Retention

We store your data only as long as needed. Removing a feature will delete all references in our database. You may use the contact section to request deletion of other data.

Use of Data

Your data is only used for features to function properly and is not sold or analyzed. It may be viewed by the developer(s) for debugging purposes but not to harm users.

Data Sharing

Data is not sold or shared with third parties except as required by law or Discord's policies. Some anonymized analytics may be collected for performance monitoring.

User Rights

Users can request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of their data where applicable — for example under GDPR. Additionally, you can always review feature documentation and use the removal guide to delete your data.

Security Measures

Your data is stored in a secure database with no third-party access and security measures in place to ensure safe storage.

Children's Privacy

The bot is not intended for users under 13 (or the applicable local minimum age). Data from users below this age is not knowingly collected.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the bot indicates acceptance of any changes.
